TO GET A CRIME REPORT VIA EMAIL:
■ There is no fee for a crime report involving one incident. However, requests for multiple reports involving different incidents may be subject to a fee.
■ To get a copy of a crime report you must provide some necessary information. This includes the name of at least one of the following: a victim, a witness, a suspect, or a reporting person. You must also advise what the incident involved (e.g. Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Burglary, Assault, etc.) as well as a location and date of the incident. If you have the police report number you should include this with your request. Also, please write your return email address in the request.

TO GET A REPORT THROUGH U.S. MAIL:
If you choose to obtain a copy of a crime report by US mail you must provide some necessary information. This includes the name of at least one of the following: a victim, a witness, a suspect, or a reporting person. You may obtain a copy of a crime report or an accident report by visiting the Safety Building located at 525 N. Erie. The Records Bureau is open to the public Monday—Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
